The high rate solids - contact reactor clarifier operates with the raw in fluent liquid being brought into immediate contact with a large circulating volume of relatively dense, previously formed floc and precipitate. Reactor Clarifier supplied in sizes ranging from 3m to 23m diameters are available.

These classifiers are designed by us to settle and dewater relatively coarse particles from high volume and low percent solid streams. We offer the best means of removing settling solids & grit quickly & economically before they can enter the waste water treatment system & damage expensive equipment such as clarifier, flotation machines & digesters.

Our clarifier mechanisms cover all tank sizes and load requirements including beam supported and center column units, all operating on the common principle of moving settled solids to tank center for removal. Drive heads are designed for minimum power consumption with heavy-duty gears that are provided to keep maintenance costs low. Skimming mechanism are available for removing oils and floating solids.

Thickeners are available in different types and sizes for every kind of service for industrial waste treatment. The drives are of beam, truss or center column supported or traction types. Automatic rake lifting devices and center column pumping are also available in our designs, along with special arms for dense slurries.

A drive generally operates at a relatively low value of output torque in a well-operated installation. As long solid input equals the solid output from the mechanism, torque will begin to climb and the alarm on the drive control will actuate to warm the operator to take corrective action.

Our solvent oil dewaxing and de oiling filters are designed for safe, high capacity removal of wax from lubricating oils at low operating temperatures. Totally enclosed and sealed construction, positive seal of the valve, rigid support construction of the tank, screen support deck construction and spring mounted teflon scraper which maintains preset position and is not affected by temperature variations are major features of our dewaxing filters.

EIMCO horizontal belt filter is a continuous vacuum filter operating on a horizontal plane. Slurries are fed onto the surface from above and the unit utilizes both gravity and vacuum to effect rapid separation of liquid and solids. The full range of coarse granular to fine slime or fibrous solids can be processed because of the top feeding principle and excellent hydraulic design.

Bicarbonate Filters manufactured by us are used in the production of soda ash to dewater to as low as possible moisture content of a sodium bicarbonate filter cake and to wash the cake free of ammonium chloride. These filters are typical of the specialized fields for which EKCP can custom design equipment.

Our fixed and floating mechanical surface aerators are available for any industrial waste treatment application. These are recommended for processes involving activated sludge, aerobic digestion, contact stabilization, or pre-aeration and for aerated lagoons. Design of our aerator provides an oxygen transfer capacity from 1.4 to 1.8 kgs. per impeller horsepower hour, depending on size and conditions. These aerators provide vigorous agitation and mixing in the water to disperse the oxygen and keep the solids in suspension.

We manufacture belt press for sludge dewatering which is simple, compact, effective and easy to operate. Dewatering is accomplished by treating slurry with polymer and then squeezing the solids between two belts to remove the liquid. This process eliminates the high-energy consumption normally required with other dewatering methods.
