Elastomer Lining Works is established in 1972 by Shri R.V. Bhirdikar, M.Sc Medalist in Organic Chemistry. He had been with Swastic rubber industries, a key person as head of the department for development of rubber components.

Later at T. Maneklal Manufacturing Company Ltd., he with other team members introduced the latest techology of rubber lining in india for the first time.
