Electro Carbon Industries, which has its unique, innovative and customer friendly approach is been smoothly sailing under the exemplary & skillful administration of M.Gunasekaran. His 38+ years of experience in the world of Carbon Brushes provides an invaluable advantage to the company.

“There are no short-cuts to success”. He believes a lot in these lines. The sincere efforts and hard work he put forth for the foundation of this company cannot be just expressed in words especially coming from a non-financial background. His thirst for “Live and let live” policies created the way of success to the company which was established in 1979.

His social service activity for the welfare of the needed people through Lions Club Organization has earned him the Region Chairperson for the year 2009-2010.

He is now duly supported by his son Arun Gunasekaran, Mechanical Engineer who has 3+ years of work experience from a reputed company. His technical skills & systematic analysis lends an admirable edge to the company. The team comprises of incomparable experience, energetic & technically skilled, sincere & smart working, ready & raring to go people.

We use high tech machinery for cutting, grinding, drilling, shaping, tamping and spot welding of the products. In addition to these, we conduct thorough research and tests for each of our products to ensure 100% flawless products. Some of the major testing techniques that we follow are:

Test Certificate - the products are certified with suitable grade certificates
Workmanship – all the brushes go through a detailed examination with magnifying glasses to make sure that there are no cracks, chipping, distortion or defects in it
Dimensional Accuracy – the dimensions of products are measured with Vernier Calipers and Screw Gauges to provide 100% accuracy
Connection Drop Test – This is conducted to test the sound electrical joint between Carbon and Flexible shunt by using Milli-volt meter and Ammeter
Pull-Out Strength Test – the flexible shunt of all the carbon brushes are subjected to a tensile force where they meet the maximum pull-out strength
