The history dates back to 1964 when Mr. P. K. Raijada, Chairman of the group started the business of electrical goods. After continuing for 6 years from office at 19, Pollock Street, Calcutta, showroom at 32 Ezra Street was acquired in 1970. It was for the first time that the most sought after and then scarce electrical measuring instruments known as AEP meters, dimmerstats and other testing instruments/equipment manufactured by AUTOMATIC ELECTRIC were made easily available to the customer. There was no looking back and Power Trading Co became the biggest and trustworthy selling agent of AE products.
