In the year 1948, Late Shri. Bhaskar D. Vaidya (Grandfather of Shri. Kushal A. Vaidya) started this esteem business. During that period '501' Harmola and Crown brands were very popular all over India. On the demise of Shri. Bhaskar D. Vaidya his son Shri. A. B. Vaidya took over the responsibility of the business at the age of 15 and introduced the musical instrument strings in the new brand name of ELLORA and continued the business alongwith his two sons (Late) Mr. Dilesh Vaidya and Mr. Kushal Vaidya.

Under the guidance of Shri. A. B. Vaidya & MR. Kushal A. Vaidya who after the demise of his father took over the charge and made all the improvements in the business as per the market demands successfully.
