About Us

EMCO was bought over by the founder, Late Mr. Damodardas Gandhi as a small mechanical workshop from an Australian gentleman named Mr. Ernst Murray from whom the brand name EMCO has been derived Ernst Murray and Co.. This was in 1947 when independence had dawned in India and which in it's wake lead to India's industrialization.

EMCO ELECTRONICS established in 1973 initially as an R andD outfit progressively grew into a full fledged manufacturing and marketing organization. It started off by manufacturing Test Measurement , Control Devices and Instruments which activity has today become the company s CORE COMPETENCY. n fact the CORE strength accumulated by the company over last few years has enabled EMCO ELECTRONICS to enter into new lines of business like agency activity , establishment of PCBs Test and Repair center, Instrumentation etc. A Branch office at Bangalore provides Sales and Service for Southern Region.

EMCO also markets Energy Savings and Quality Power System manufactured by Saif Electronics Ltd., Mumbai.

For last 15 years our company is undertaking the Diagnostics and Repairs of very complex Boards. EMCO ELECTRONICS is also a Govt. of India recognized RandD center and an ISO 90012000 Certified company.

On Design and Manufacturing side as on today, EMCO has made products which are pioneering products viz. Automatic Voltage Regulating Relays VRsTap Position Indicator TPI, Remote Oil Temperature Indicator ROTI, Remote Winding Temperature Indicator RWTI, Echo Suppressors, Paralell Control Unit PCU Voltage Controller Control Unit VCCU .We may also add that EMCO ELECTRONICS holds virtual monopoly in AVRs.
