  This product is for an Airborne equipment where the synthesized LO (local oscillator) frequency is controlled by a host processor.

• DME / TACAN Tester
  The USB based DME / TACAN Test set it a compact, programmable RF Tester designed to test / verify airborne DME / TACAN  Transmitters and Receivers ( Frequency: 950MHz - 1225MHz)                                                                   

• IFF Signal Simulator
  The USB based IFF Signal Simulator is a compact, Pulsed RF signal simulator at 1030MHz with versatile signal generation capabilities for testing the airborne IFF Transmitter/Receivers with mode S and Mode 4 Features.   

• Synthesizer Tester
  The compact USB based Synthesizer Tester enables quick and easy testing of programmable Synthesizers and avoiding hours of manual testing with standard spectrum analyzers. This is useful in testing programmable synthesizers such as the one used in TACAN / DME.

• Palm RF Power Meter
  This low cost, compact, palm size USB powered RF Power meter measures RF power for use in field testing and in all lab environments

• RF Power Meter with Frequency
  This low cost, compact, USB powered RF power meter can measure RF power and frequency for use in field testing and in all lab environments

• Programmable Filter Tester
  The compact USB based filter tester enables quick and easy testing of Programmable Filters and avoiding hours of manual testing with standard network analyzer. This is useful in testing programmable filter such as the one used in TACAN/DME.

• USB ARINC 429 Simulators
  The compact USB based ARINC 429 Simulator module AVB 01 is Windows XP/Vista compatible. The module can simulate one ARINC 429 transmit channel and two ARINC 429 receive channels. It provides data analysis, data filtering and can log and display the captured data.
  
• USB 1553B Bus Simulators
  The compact USB based 1553B Bus Simulator module AVB 02 is Windows XP/Vista compatible. The module can simulate a dual redundant MIL STD 1553B Bus Controller/  Remote Terminal/ Bus Monitor. It provides bus data analysis, filtering of the Bus Data and can log and display the captured data.

The key strengths of the company includes domain knowledge of systems and algorithms in wireless communication, radar signal processing, kalman filter and its application in estimation and tracking. The company can realize these algorithms, in real time, with firmware running on standard fixed ( e.g blackfin) / floating point DSP processors  (tiger sharc)  or as dedicated hardware in FPGAS e.g., physical layer realisation of wireless communication algorithms of  WiMAX  in  Altera's Cyclone III device 3C16
The company has already offered hardware and firmware design for airborne DME (distance measuring equipment) and airborne TACAN (Tactical Air Navigation) systems for Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Hyderabad.

The founder Dr. V. Nagarajan is an entrepreneur with more than 30 years experience. He graduated, with honours, from Madras Institute of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering, in 1977. He earned his doctorate degree in "New algorithms for track while scan radar systems" from Indian Institute of Science in 1985 as an external registrant while working at Avionics Design Bureau, Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL).  He founded EmWiB Technologies in 2006 to offer products for the embedded, wireless and broadband markets. He has published several papers in IEEE transactions and IEE transactions and has been a reviewer for both these journals.

Mr. S. Nandagopal, Director , brings in more than 35 years of experience in management, engineering, manufacturing and technical functions of professional electronic equipment  and electronic PCB manufacturing industries. At EmWiB Technologies, he ensures that manufacturability and product reliability issues are addressed right at the design stage. He is also responsible for the manufacture of the company''s products.

Mr. A. Annamalai, General Manager  (Design), joined the company in april 07. He is a post graduate in electrical engineering from IIT Madras and has 31 years of design, development and managerial experience in avionics product development such as IFF ( Identification Friend or Foe ) systems, TACAN (Tactical Air Navigation), radio altimeter and subsystems of radar in the R&D department of avionics division. His wider experience includes the integration of avionic systems containing RF / Microwave sub systems & signal processing circuits, preparation of production documentation and production of the avionics equipment.

Mr. Shivraj, General Manager (business development), has got 32 years of production, installation and testing experience in ground control approach radars at HAL (Avionics Division), Hyderabad. His expertise includes setting of the radar locations in various airfields of the Indian Air Force. He brings wealth of customer support experience to the company.
