Since the cost of energy has escalated, the need for efficient and prudent use of energy has increased. Even after using the most efficient equipments and processes, there exists an enormous amount of waste heat in energy generating equipments such as boilers, hot air generators, thermic fluid heaters, furnaces, ovens or from process exhaust such as vent air, steam, vapors or wall losses. To improve the thermal efficiency of the existing equipments, the heat recovered from such sources can be utilized for other processes.
