Test Chambers are able to perform both high and low temperature tests and can provide a temperature range of -70°C to 180°C. Extreme temperatures are the leading cause of failure in almost all types of equipment. Temperature testing is used to determine the thermal limits of operation of units, to cause weak parts to show themselves, and to verify internal cooling/heating protection effectiveness. In most cases, a thermal test should include both high and low test levels.

Salt Spray Test Chambers

At Envirotech systems we can supply our customers a full range of salt spray (Corrosion) test chambers, our salt spray chambers are constructed from non corrosive s.s sheet and PVC sheet. This ensures that the equipment is not attacked or rotted by the corrosive salt solution; we also use a glass nozzle for the salt spray to ensure durability and longevity of life. The chamber have a completed sealed lid to prevent the escape of any fumes of fluid that might affect the surrounding area. The unit is mounted on castors wheel for easy moving should you require this and are supplied complete ready for use only requiring the connection of all the supplies required. Our Salt Spray chambers can be supplied with two versions of control system, either a single set point controller for long term stability tests.

The Acoustic chamber is used for diffusing noise of a machine. It is constructed of inner ‘diffuse’ sound field chamber housed with in an exterior barrier in chamber. housing. Its large sound transmission loss design allows to be used for various sound generating sources. The basic principal of sound proofing is to diffusing the sound or kill the intensity of sound either absorbing the sound or reberveration of sound by sound reflection wall surfaces. When sound wave hit structural components like wall and floor, the energy vibrates the wall. The wall, in turn, create a diffused wave on the other side. Diffusion of sound, depend of sound absorbing material which used on the wall. To diffusion the sound following methods comes in used.


  • Sound Reduction

  • Sound reduction is achieved through using mass and air space. As the air space become large, sound attenuates loss energy, as travel through the air. (Sound field is constant throughout the chamber with minimal standard effect). The intensity of sound diffused and become neutralized.



  • Sound Absorption

  • Sound Absorption is achieved by changing its characteristic of the sound, Stop it from Echoing, stop reverberation and reflections. when sound hits solid, it has to expend some of its energy to vibrate the mass. This type of sound reduction is diffusing sound in a acoustic system.
