Ready to use culture media constitute monoplates with different media commonly used, biplates, triplates and tetraplates with combination of two, three & four media respectively. Combination of media are designed as per requirement and application. There are blood culture media with broth containing SPS and biphasic media for paediatrics as well as adults, L.J. plain with growth supplement and L.J. set with antibiotics of 1st and 2nd line, ready to use bottled media. Media for biochemicals in tubes and vials are also available. Dip slides for urine culture and for sterility testing of liquids are part of the range of prepared culture media.

Antibiotic Discs for all the Antibiotics are prepared as per guidelines of the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) formerly NCCL. Quality control of Antibiotic Discs are maintained using ATCC strains of different organisms as per guideline of CLSI. Discs for penicillins, all cephalosporins of 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th generations, macrolides, aminoglycosides, quinolones, carbapenems and antifungal agents, etc. are included in the list.

Discs impregnated with different carbohydrates used for the identification of aerobic as well as anaerobic organisms are included. These discs are prepared and stored taking all the precautions to maintain potency and self life for the specified period.

Discs used for differentiation of different organisms are also available with EOS Laboratories. These discs like Optochin and Bacitracin are validated for Q.C. with the respective organisms. For Oxidase ,discs as well as strips are available.

Anaerobic gas packs in the form of Anaerogens create complete anaerobic atmosphere in a jar of 10-12 litres. These are efficient and simple to operate. Antimicrobial polydiscs are rings containing multiple antibiotics.Polydiscs with different combinations of Antibiotics for Gram positive, Gram negative, Urinary tract infection (gram positive), Urinary tract infection (gram negative), Pseudomonas and common for all the above are available. Combination for each type is taken with common and effective antibiotic used for the particular organisms / infection. Custom designed polydiscs(rings) are also provided. Like Antibiotic Discs, Polydiscs are also manufactured as per guidelines of CLSI. Simillarly quality control is monitored.

Sterile containers of various capacity for specimen collection with screw cap as well as press cap, plastic petridishes 90mm and 150 mm disposable as well as autoclavable, transport swabs with & without different transport media and sterile swabs packed and sterilized in plastic pouches are available. Sterile items are individually packed. These items are sterilized by gama irradiation.

Air sampler strips for aerial count in sterile units like operation theatres and sterile manufacture areas a available with different media like Tryptic Soy agar for total count, Rose Bengal agar and Sabouraud Dextrose agar for yeasts and moulds, Mannitol Salt agar for Staphylococci, MacConkey agar for coliform, Tryptic Soya agar-Penase agar for total count in penicillin production area, Tryptic Soya Agar Lecithin & Tween 80 for water miscible cosmetics & equipment surfaces.

Plastic tubes and vials with EDTA, Fluoride and Oxalate are available for blood collection. Nichrome wire loops and loop holders for microbiological work are also available.
