We offer a wide range of qualitative composite plates that are specifically designed and fabricated to suit the various demanding applications. The plates provide optimum performance when used with eskayjay diamond compound and slurries. Manufactured using a homogeneous mix of synthetic resins, metallic particles and other material, these are highly appreciated for their excellent performance, superior surface finish, flatness and consistent stock removal rates.

The various advantages of using these plates over pure metal plates are:

• Composite lapping plates normally takes a more uniform charge of diamond particles compared to pure metal plates.
• Composite plates are superior in application where lapping and polishing are combined into one step.

The various material in which the plates are offered include the following:

• Iron: Suitable to be used with sized micron diamond for stock removal on hard material like as steel, ceramic, silicon carbide and tungsten carbide; and are known for providing a fine reflective finish on most components.
• Copper: it is ideally used for medium range of diamond to produce a highly polished surface for almost all material with minimum stock removal.
• XP: it provides mirror finish on various material such as ceramic, steel, ferrite and bronze, when used with a medium to fine micron sized diamond.
• Tin/Lead: tin is one the softest plates of all composite plates offered by us. It is capable of providing a mirror finish on fiber optic terminals, carbon seal faces, and many other hard materials such as tungsten carbide, when used with a fine diamond.
• Ceramic: this is the hardest plate available on the product line and is useful for lapping and polishing of ceramic and other hard materials where a "clean" process is essential.

We manufacture a precision engineered range of diamond slurries that are used on lapping plates and polishing pads. These are highly demanded for processing different components including mechanical seals, aircraft components, medical devices, valves and electronics. Diamond processing can be an effective alternative to conventional lapping in various applications. We offer these slurries in any concentration, particle size, formulation or container size. As per the processing requirements, these are also offered as a concentrate to be diluted or suspension treated for use when no slurry agitation is available. Moreover, these can also be made using resin bond, metal bond, or natural diamond powder.
