Incepted in the year 1981, we “Essen Aluminium,” are an ISO certified company engaged in manufacturing and exporting a comprehensive range of precision engineered casting products like aluminum castings, copper based alloy castings, centrifugal castings, gravity die castings, sand castings, manganese bronze castings, investment castings, aluminum investment castings, precision investment castings, industrial investment castings, gunmetal castings, precision gears, gear housings, gunmetal gears, aluminum bronze gears, leaded bronze bushes, phosphorus bronze bushes, etc. Manufactured using aluminum and copper based alloys, the entire range finds application in diverse industries such as pump, valves, lift, excavators, material handling equipment and others. A registered member of SSI unit, we have with us production capacity of 25 tons per month. Leveraging on our state-of-the-art production unit equipped with latest machines, these castings are offered in conformation to ASTM, IS, DIN, BS and other relevant industry standards. Further, to meet these standards, we make use of certified ingots as well as undertake rigorous research activities that allow us to deliver in the castings optimum finish standards as per the emerging market demands. Today, under the able guidance of our mentor Mr. Shishir Kamat, we are successfully meeting the specific casting needs of our global clients. His 10 years of industry experience in the related field also help us to understand the market's dynamics and meet the exact product demands of today's competitive market. |

Modern Manufacturing Facility
We possess well-furnished state-of-the-art manufacturing facility that helps us to successfully undertake manufacturing of wide range of casting products. Our manufacturing unit is spread over a sprawling area of 3000 sq. ft. For efficient functioning, the facilities are divided under different units such as fabrication shop, assembly shop, general machine shop and others. This is to streamline the manufacturing process and meet the bulk orders in a stipulated time frame.
We also thoroughly maintain the inflow order of raw material, storing, testing, manufacturing, assembling, final inspecting, finishing and dispatching so that the quality procedures at every stage are flawlessly implemented.
Our well equipped manufacturing unit has all necessary machines used for production. Some of the machines installed are as follows :

Further, we have a separate in-house designing unit facilitated with CAD/CAM facility which helps to deliver flawlessly designed casting products. |

Infrastructure
We have our own in-house chemical laboratory wherin we use gravitimetric, volumetric and spectrophotometric methods which helps us in maintaining a tight control over the chemical composition of metals. Integrally cast test bars are provided where specifically required. Physical test reports can be provided if required. This meticulous involvement in pursuance of quality has helped us in getting some respected names in the industry as our customers.
We have an excellent general purpose workshop with high accuracy lathes, ably supervised by qualified engineers and helped by good metronomic equipment. All our measuring instruments are regularly calibrated at recognised insititutes. Our metallurgical records are maintained carefully so that any casting - raw or machined - can be connected to lab reports (heat numbers, anyalysis etc.) at any future date. |
Quality Policy / Processes
Metal control :
All raw materials used in Essen Aluminum's operations are certified ingots. A certificate of anlysis backs each load of ingot from ingot supplier. This certificate can be supplied upon your request. All material by alloy, is kept separate in the manufacturing process. Thus there is no contamination between alloys. Test bars are available, upon request, which will supply the customer with physical and chemical properties of the variuos alloys. Melt Control : All material is melted in oil fired crucible furnaces and degassed before pouring. Metal temperature is very critical in the melting and pouring of metal. Immersion temperature pyrometrs are used to determine metal temperature during the melting cycle and to also determine proper pouring temperature prior to pouring. These pyrometeres are periodically calibrated by the manufacturer to indure accuracy at all times. |
