Paper Grade Starch

Modified Starch of different grades have many applications in Paper Industries.
Modified Corn Starch is reacted with different chemicals to make them suitable to use in paper industries.
Provides lots of benefits in Paper Making as shown below.
  • To increase ply-bond and stiffness in board
  • To increase bursting strength
  • Exceptional retention of fine/fillers
  • For coating and surface sizing of paper for specialty paper.
  • To improve print ability, better surface strength, wax pick resistance, smoothness and better brightness retention.
  • To improve retention of fines and fillers, improvement in strength due to additional fiber to fiber bond.

Paper Sizing Starch

Paper Sizing Starch

Esterified Starch is modified used in paper making during surface sizing .

It is a sizng starch which produces better film & gives great results during surface sizing on Sizing press.

It is better to use over other chemicals specially in Craft paper making.

This modified starch is also considered as a Sizing chenical starch.

It is an ultra low viscosity starch for paper sizing .

Spray Starch

Spray Starch

Item Code: EVERSPRAY

    • Ever Spray.

Ever Spray is specially modified maize starch developed for spraying application. It is made for special functional paper industries group in presence of well experienced and experts for giving specific desire property, its wet end application on wire part intensifies following:

To increase ply-bond and stiffness in board

      To increase bursting strength

      Exceptional retention of fine/fillers

It is applied through spray starch system usual recommended dosage is 1.5 to 3.5 %.

        • Everoxi.

Everoxi is oxidized starch, developed for coating and surface sizing of paper for spctiality paper,

Due to it’s carboxylic groups the paste of the product is more stable to retro gradation it helps to improve print ability, better surface strength, wax pick resistance, smoothness and better brightness retention.

          • Evercat

Evercat is a cationic starch. Specially developed for us in the wet end in paper making. It is helps to improve retention of fines and fillers, improvement in strength due to additional fiber to fiber bond.

Evercat has a cationic charge attached to it which is done by reaction with quaternary salts. Evercatis equally useful in acid, neutral of alkaline paper making.

          Oxidised Starch

          Cationic Starch

          Cationic Starch

          ·        Cationic starches represent a unique class of high performance starch derivatives which have gained commercial acceptance .

          ·        Cationic starches are effective for improving such physical properties of paper as bursting and tensile strength, elongation, fold endurance, and pick resistance.

          ·        Usually 0.5% to 1%addition of cooked cationic starch, gives the same improvement in the paper as does 1.5% to 2% addition of corn starch.

          ·        Other benefits of the cationic starches are improved drainage on the wire, better sheet formation and enhancement of the sizing efficiency of an alum rosin size.

          ·        With increasing filler retention, the sheet loses strength because inert fillers reduce the number of sites for fiber to fiber bonding.

          ·        Because cationic starch acts both to improve strength properties and filler retention, its use gives high strength properties at higher level of filler retention.

           Other Advantages:

          ·        Increased internal strength properties & retention of fillers & fines.

          ·        Faster drainage & improved sheet formation.

          ·        Improved effluent quality & reduced costs
