This in turn necessitated in the invention of modern day efficient tools to replace the traditional carbide drills which cuts slow and gives inferior finish. Thus came the precision diamond tools which are more effective and efficient in the applications like drilling, cutting, grinding, dressing, lapping and polishing of glass, ceramics, granite, marble, FRP, FTP and other hard and brittle materials as well as in die moulds and general engineering industries.

EXCEL Abrasives was established and managed by Mr. Pauly Thomas in 1982 and his leadership expected to deliver a towering performance. He brought to the company a wealth of experience in his unmatched diamond coating technology in tool design, which requires diamond and chemical composition to be specific in the right application.
