Expansion Bellows

Our range of double bellows with pipe or flanges is widely appreciated by our clients all over. Mainly used for straight axial motion, the double expansion joint expands the degree of flexibility. The predominant motion is straight axial if the double expansion joint is used in combination with other movements.

To absorb the movement of the pipe section wherein it is installed (independent of the other bellows), as each bellow operate as a Single Expansion Joint.

Our range of Hinged Bellows is capable of absorbing angular movement in one plane. The Hinged assemblies are usually used in sets of two or three, thereby enabling absorption of large amounts of expansion in high pressure piping systems. In this type of arrangement only low spring forces are passed on to the equipment. Designed to perfection, our range of hinged hardware is designed to carry the pressure thrust of the system, and is also utilized to combat torsional movement in a piping system.

We design and manufacture a wide range of Universal Bellows with Pipe or Flanges. The universal expansion joint is often referred to as double expansion joint-containing two bellows attached by a common connector to absorb any combination of the three basic movements: Axial, Lateral and Angular.

This joint is provided with control rods for allocating the movement between the two bellows of the expansion joint and to make the common connector stable.

The movement of centre pipe section is managed by the overall control rods along with uniformly dividing motion between the bellows elements. This arrangement is mainly used for lateral deflection although can also accommodate axial movement. Besides, this type of expansion joint also make use of overall tie rods to fix the overall length of the expansion joint and have full pressure thrust (only lateral deflection is accommodated).

We offer qualitative and innovative Gimbal Bellows. Being an extension of the hinged type, the Gimbal Expansion Joint allows angular rotation in any plane. These Gimbal Bellows and Gimbal Expansion Bellows are employed in pairs to accommodate lateral deflection in any plane. The gimbal arrangement also accommodates pressure thrust. Generally this arrangement is used as three-dimensional system with two gimbals in combination with one hinged expansion joint, wherein accommodating thermal motion in three planes.
