The Sipart DR 19 process controller is a digital controller. It is mainly used for applications in mechanical engineering and device manufacture. Its internal program memory contains a large number of standard functions for the control of process engineering applications. A user with no programming knowledge can simply call up and execute these functions.

It includes as standard an input for direct connection of temperature sensors such as thermocouples (TC), Pt 100 resistance thermometers (RTD), resistance based sensors (R) or voltage signals in the mV range (also mA and V with adaptor plug).

The Sipart DR 19 controller is very flexible and can be quickly and easily configured to meet the requirements of the application.

Sipart DR 21 Process Controller

The Sipart DR 21 process controller is a digital controller. Its internal program memory contains a large number of standard functions for the control of process engineering applications. A user with no programming knowledge can simply call up and execute these functions.

The Sipart DR 21 controller is very flexible and can be quickly and easily configured to meet the requirements of the application.

An adaptation process is built in as standard.

The Sipart DR 22 process controller is a digital operating instrument with a "top class" performance.Within the internal program memory are a large number of  functions for controlling processes, which can be simply retrieved by the user  without any programming knowledge or accessories.

If required, function blocks for mathematical and logic functions can be easily added to the input connections, thus enabling optimum adaptation to more complex tasks.

The controller incorporates a versatile adaptation procedure which greatly simplifies commissioning, even of critical controlled systems. During this procedure, the controller automatically determines the optional parameters for stable control, even if the user has no preliminary knowledge of the controlled systems response. The adaptation procedure is suitable for controlled systems with recovery times and aperiodic transient responses. Even large dead times are taken into account.

Sipart DR 24 Automation Systems

The Sipart DR 24 multi-function unit is used in process engineering applications for calculation, closed-loop and open-loop control. The unit can be freely configured to suit the application. During configuring, functions stored in memory are, through simple allocation, selected and connected to one another, to the inputs and outputs, and to the indicators and pushbuttons of the control and display unit.

No programming knowledge is necessary.

The multi-function unit can be connected to higher level automation systems or process computers using analog, parallel interfaces, as well as via an addressable bus-based serial interface.

The multi-function unit can be installed in panels, desks or cabinets.

Sitrans T3K PA

You can use this bus-capable device with profibus PA interface in all branches and integrate it (like the sitrans tk/tk-h) in keeping with the totally integrated automation concept.

Sitrans T3K PA converts signals from resistance thermometers, resistance-based sensors, thermocouples and voltage sensors into digital signals. The measured value from the micro-processor is then made available with status as a quality speci-fication and other parameters electrically isolated on profibus pa. Sensor, limit values, failure response etc. Can be pro-grammed. Sitrans t3k pa thus provides you with various diagnosis and simulation options.

Great safety

The current consumption amounts to less than 11ma. For safety, the bus current is limited in the event of an error to less than 14ma, and an emc filter prevents malfunctions in the case of electromagnetic interference. Intrinsically safe versions are available for this device too. Eex ia and eex ib.

Fast and error-free parameterization

Sitrans t3k pa fits in the connection head type b with raised cover. Parameterization is performed with the user-friendly soft-ware package simatic PDM.

The Sitrans TK-L dispenses with electrical isolation and universal sensor connection to provide a low-cost alternative for Pt100 measurements.

SIPROM TK software is used in combination with the modem for Sitrans TK-L the parameterization.

A very compact design makes the Sitrans TK-L ideal for the retrofitting of measuring points or for the use of analog transmitters.

The transmitter is available as a non-Ex version as well as for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.

Application

Sitrans TK-L temperature transmitters with "Non incendive" type protection can be mounted within potentially explosive at-mospheres (zone 2).

Sitrans TK-L temperature transmitters with "Flame-proof enclo-sure" type protection can be mounted within potentially explo-sive atmospheres (zone 1).

Sitrans TK/TK-H

This universal transmitter integrates your temperature measurement in the TIA concept (Totally Integrated Automation). This makes central engineering possible, bringing you time and cost benefits.

SIMATIC PDM or another HART programming tool can be used for the configuration. The transmitter provides electrical isolation and enables the connection of resistance thermometers, resistance-based sensors, thermocouples and voltage-based sensors.

Application

The Sitrans TF transmitter converts the signals from resistance thermometers, resistance-based sensors, thermocouples or voltage sensors into a load-independent direct current corre-sponding to the sensor characteristic.

The communication capability (HARTr protocol V 5.7) of the Sitrans TF permits parameterization using a PC or HART com-municator (hand-held communicator).

Parameterization is carried out using a PC for the programmable Sitrans TF with integrated SITRANS TK.with integrated Sitrans TF.

Transmitters of the "Non incendive" type of protection can be op-erated within potentially explosive atmospheres (zone 2).

Transmitters of the "intrinsically safe" type of protection can be operated within potentially explosive atmospheres (zone 1).

Transmitters of the "Flame-proof enclosure" type can be operat-ed in explosion hazard areas (zone 1).

Sitrans TF2 Temperature Transmitter

The temperature transmitter sitranstf2 integrates three elements in one device:
  • A PT100 resistance thermometer in a stainless steel protective tube
  • A stainless steel housing with a high degree of protection, and
  • A built-in transmitter with lcd and three keys for parameterization.

It is used to indicate and monitor the temperature measured at the point of installation.

The sitranstf2 is available in an axial and a radial version.

The sitranstw universal transmitter is a further development of the service-proven sitranst for the 4-wire system in a mounting rail housing. With numerous new functions it sets new standards for temperature transmitters.

With its diagnostics and simulation functions the sitranstw provides the necessary insight during commissioning and oper-ation. And using its hart interface the sitranstw can be conveniently adapted with simaticpdm to every measurement task.

All sitranstw control room devices are available in a non-in-trinsically safe version as well as in an intrinsically safe version for use with the most stringent requirements.

Application

The sitrans TW transmitter is a four-wire rail-mounted device with a universal input circuit for connection to the following sen-sors and signal sources:

  • Resistance thermometers
  • Thermocouple elements
  • Resistance-based sensors/potentiometers
  • MV sensors
  • As special version:
    -v sources
    -current sources

The 4-wire rail-mounted sitrans tw transmitter wire is de-signed for control room installation. It must not be mounted in po-tentially explosive atmospheres.

All sitranstw control room devices are available in a non-in-trinsically safe version as well as in an intrinsically safe version for use with the most stringent requirements.
