Vedika Software Pvt Ltd is moving up from FACT, its off-the-shelf accounting software, to FACT ERP.x, an enterprise resource planning (ERP) package aimed at small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
Arvind Agarwalla of Vedika said an advanced feature of FACT ERP.x is FACT Cockpit, which gives a single-screen control to the top management of the company in real time.
Agarwalla said that, with the launch of the ERP package, the company would no longer sell the FACT accounting package, which is used by over 100,000 Companies worldwide, as a standalone product.
The FACT ERP package will also be considerably cheaper than the products offered by global majors like SAP and Oracle, he said, with costs beginning at Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh.
"We will be aiming for Companies with a turnover upward of Rs 2 crore," said Agarwalla.
FACT ERP.x will be offered to all FACT users worldwide, with automatic master and data migration. It has several new features such as integrated accounts, inventory, payroll, manufacturing module, fixed asset module with automatic and integrated depreciation accounting.
He said the FACT ERP package can be implemented in 10-30 hours, and is designed to be an ERP package out of the box.
