We manufacture Power & Distribution Transformers from 100 KVA to 5000 KVA in voltage class up to 33 kV. Transformers are available with Free Breathing Type or Hermitically Sealed Type. Free Breathing transformers are standard transformers, where the transformers are provided with Conservator fitted with Silica-gel breathers. Hermitically Sealed Transformers are either Bolted type or Welded type. These transformers are totally maintenance free as no breathing takes place. These transformers are specially suited in places which are moist or heavily polluted with dust, chemicals or salt conditions. Transformers produced at FAIRDEAL, are manufactured under the most stringent conditions, using only prime first quality virgin materials only. We are producing one of the Best Designed Transformers, having the lowest No-load & Full Load Losses in the industry. Transformers are available with Aluminium or Copper Windings.

We offer conventional (also known as free breathing type) type corrugated tank transformers that have capacity range from 100 KVA to 1600 KVA up to 33KV. These are mainly used for compact sub-stations where space is a major constraint. These are fitted with conservator tank along with silica gel breather. As these are provided with corrugated walls on all four sides to meet the temperature rise these transformers takes less space than the normal type transformers which comes with radiators.

We manufacture precision engineered corrugated tank transformers that are hermitically sealed type and available in capacity from 100KVA to 1600KVA up to 33KV. These transformers are maintenance free owing to absence of breathing that makes these ideal for installation at the places where various difficult conditions consistently occurs such as excessive moisture, dusty atmosphere and heavy air pollution. These transformers are customized as per the clients’ technical specifications in order to use at compact substations or where less space is available.

All these years we have been installing transformers using pole structures, where the basic disadvantages of the system was: 

• Ugly structures
• Large utilization of space
  
• Improper fuse links resulting in no proper protection to transformers.

When faults take place, heavy damage to transformers and auxiliary systems are reported. Instead of using proper rating of fuses, people have been using wires, which is technically incorrect. We have been producing one of the finest transformers over the last decade, and boast of giving transformers comparable with the best manufacturers in the country. For the last couple of years, we have started recommending customers to switch over to using 11KV Extensible fuse switch. This is basically an Isolation Switch with HRC Fuses.

This system has distinct advantage over pole structure defined below:

• There is no need for providing ugly looking poles structures. The EFS is bus-coupled to the transformer directly, by using oil filled chamber
• Eliminates use of XLPE Cable & termination kits between transformer and switch
• There is considerable space saving, and aesthetically good looking
• The unit is completely protected and can be mounted on plinth at a low height of 300 mm only or even indoors
• Ease of operation
• At times of faults, even if one fuse blows off, the entire system trips, saving damage from single phasing, etc
• HRC fuses being fast acting give enhanced protection, even during lighting strikes (It is still suggested to provide lighting arrestors at the point of supply). This system is highly recommended for transformers up to 1000 KVA-11KV.
  
• We would also like to inform you that we are probably one of the very few manufacturers who have been supplying transformers with bus-coupled EFS and have been appreciated for our efforts.

We offer specifically designed and precisely manufactured transformers that are coupled with on-load tap changers with RTCC & AVR for remote. These are also available with auto operation or manual operation in order to make controlling convenient for the users. As due to voltage fluctuations a 10% higher incoming voltage shoots up no-load losses by 40% that is uncontrollable. The following table shows the increase in losses as voltage increases:

Our competent engineers enable us to offer a comprehensive range of dry type power and distribution transformers that are without oil and supplied with ventilated tank. The insulation material used in these transformers is nomex and fibre glass with the winding vacuum impregnated using silicone varnish which makes these free from fire and other types of hazards. These transformers are entirely maintenance free and capable to be installed close to load centers in enclosed areas.  

We manufacture precision engineered auto transformers that are considered to be suitable in the applications where the difference between input and output voltage is less than 30%. These are also available with air cooled or oil cooled systems along with customization in order to meet client’s voltage problems in the existing supply network. We also offer these transformers with on-load tap changers where existing transformers are installed with off-circuit tap changers in order to provide near constant output voltages. Moreover, these can also be supplied up to 33KV class that makes it economical and rugged than voltage stabilizers.

We offer a range of high performing thyristor duty transformers that are extensively used in industrial applications where thyristors are used for conversion of supply from AC to DC. Our competent technocrats have created its robust design so that the insulation system is capable to withstand short-time over-voltages along with superimposed DC voltages on AC voltages and polarity reversal. These transformers are available with tow secondary windings that are arranged axially provided the impedance between the primary and secondary windings is required to be identical in order to ensure even operation.
