It did not take a long for this enterprise to succeed and expand. The company moved to a much bigger and better equipped office and manufacturing facility in 1978 and expanded the scope of its manufacturing operations. This expansion also necessitated the installation of sophisticated presses, Lathes and milling and shaping machines for precision tooling. This facility started producing 500 top-of-the-line vices everyday. In 1985. acaptive casting facility was installed in-house for graded castiong with much improved surface finish.And as the customer base
expanded, new ties were forged Soon, oaykay tools were in demand in more countires
and by a large number of quality conscious coustomers. This demand now warranted expension in the product range also. As a result a state of the art forging unit took shape covering more then 2,50,000 sq. ft. with a wide range of machines and equipement . Forging Hammers, trimming and blanking presses started working in unison with scale blowing equipment and temperature controlled forging furnaces. A new generation of professionals and skilled workers started producing zero defact forging round the clock with phenomenally low and unheard of rejecton rate .And the company started producing world class forged tools.
