Bio diesel is methyl or ethyl ester of fatty acid and is made from virgin or used vegetable oils and animal fats. Some of the common sources from which we manufacture biodiesel are plant species such as Jatropha Curcas (Ratanjyot), Pongamia Pinnata (Karanj), Calophyllum inophyllum (Nagchampa), Hevca brasiliensis (Rubber) etc. Containing no petroleum, it can be blended at any level with petroleum diesel for creating a bio-diesel blend or can also be used in its pure form.
