Based on epoxy, polyester resin and fiber glass reinforcement, various grades of laminates are manufactured. Fire retardant grade laminates are offered for specific applications. These laminates are available in standard sizes, in the thickness range of 0.5 to 100mm & above.
These are made to EP1/EP2/EP3 and UP1/UP2 as per IS:10192-1982. Backed by expertise in processing, we manufacture very thick sheets/ blocks up to 200mm.These are used as coil support in dry transformers. We also produce fiberglass molding of various sizes and shapes, with intricate details. Glass fabric wound RODS / TUBES / PIPES are also available. We manufacture different types of slot wedges, machined out of laminated sheets, which are critical components in traction motor armatures.
Epoxy fiberglass filament wound tube is composed of continuous filaments with controlled orientation in a matrix of cured epoxy resin. It is produced with varying angles of fiberglass filaments winding. The angles of winding can be varied to suit different applications and strength requirements. Typically, fiberglass filaments are wound in two directions across each other and at an angle of 50-55 degree to the longitudinal axis of the tube.

Epoxy fiberglass filament wound tube is light and strong. Epoxy resins are impregnating compounds with the highest available quality of all comparable polymers for the pultrusions of FRP rod materials. Hot curing epoxy resin in combination with anhydride hardener gives an aging/hydrolysis resistant high strength matrix component. Polyester resins are not hydrolysis resistant and have lower mechanical and electrical properties.

Based on `E` Glass Re-enforcement in the form of Woven Fabric, Woven Mat and Chopped strand Mat with suitable class of Epoxy or Polyester Resins, various grades of laminates are manufactured. Fire Retardant grade laminates are offered for specific applications. Process involved in manufacturing these laminates, Pressed in Hydraulic Presses under controlled temperatures and pressures. These Laminates are available in standard sizes, in the thickness range of 0.5 to 100mm and above. Special Sizes to customer’s requirement is also manufactured. These are made to various Grades of IS: 10192 and NEMA specification. We also manufacture to Customer's Specification.
The FRP Epoxy Wedges are manufactures from Epoxy laminates / pultrusion process. The FRP epoxy wedges are manufactured to confirm class F & H. The epoxy wedges are manufacture as per the customer drawings.
