With his extensive industry experience of over 35, he has spearheaded the organization to bring in greater professionalism, create a corporate identity and raise the product standard .This has resulted in Fine Jewellery being awarded the ISO-9001 certification in 1998 and to become the Star Exporter in 2001. His innovative approach, and deep insight into the customer needs and market trends, both local and international has led him to develop a whole range of best selling global products. This dynamic industrialist, who spots opportunities, generates and selects ideas, was recently awarded with the “Lifetime Achievement Award” at the Retail Jeweller Awards 2008 Ceremony in Mumbai. Mr. Prem Kumar Kothari has ben closely associated with the Gems & Jewellery Associations for the past 19 years. Not only is he associated with the Gems & Jewellery sector, he has also helped solve the exporters problems with the State & Central Government and has also successfully taken up problems faced by the Indian Jewellers with different government bodies to bring about changes in major policies thus facilitating trade bodies and simplifying government policy implementation.
