| | Pellet Transport System PTS | We provide our clients with a wide array of Pellet Transport System PTS. This system provides continuous and automatic transportation of pellets between the production lines and measuring systems. Sample of pellets from production line is affected by means of pneumatic sample takers. Thereafter, they are sent through aluminium or stainless steel pipes. The Pellet Transport System consist of hopper loaders with shutter valves for extruder. Besides, it the system also contains low and high level sensors for sampling. Furthermore, a stand by tank is provided for purge and calibration material. A 3- way switch is also available for a starvation system. Some of the other specifications include:
- The PTS is controlled with a PLC which is driven with a TFT touch panel for visualisation and control of the sampling system
- The system is equipped with a digital I/O interface to the DCS for transferring status and alarms
- All Pipes and bends (elbows) are specified to avoid dust, angel hairs and streamers.
- Totally gap-free flange connections (recommended: Slip-on collars and loose flanges with projection and recess)
- A de-dusting device for removing dust and streamers
- Sample taker, 3 way switch and special hopper for extruder consist of a hopper loader. The hopper loader is provided with a shutter valve for the analyzer with low/high level sensors for sampling.

| | Mode of Operation | - The liquid substance is pumped through the flow cell using a high-precision dosing pump (30µl/min – 2,7l/min)
- The checking of the transparent liquid substances for particles above 10µm is possible
- The camera installed opposite to light source enables a particle to detected as it absorbs light or has a different color than the liquid
- The usage of polarized light enables detecting of fibres
| Salient features includes: - During the measurement, the recorded images and the measurement data can be observed on a monitor
- The results can be represented in colored graphs or tabular form and after each measurement a test certificate is printed out
- For further evaluation, it is possible to create diagrams on time behaviour and histograms
- Further, it is also possible to define alarm limits. When the limits are exceeded, a floating contact is switched

| | On-Line FT-Infrared Spectrometry APLAIRS | The On-Line FT-Infrared Spectrometry APLAIRS ( Analysis of Plastics by Infra Red Spectroscopy) offered by us is applied in the modern plastic industry. It is mainly used to measure real time additives, co-monomer composition and some chemical properties during the production of the base resin. The Aplairs system popular for state of the art process and quality control and is therefore an absolute requirement in modern plastic production facilities. This technology is preferred over conventional off-line quality control (QC) methods as it provides better precision and faster analysis time. In addition to melt index and in homogeneity, the Aplairs system generates real time which is very useful complementary analytical data for process control. If the products has similar melt index and different additive package the Aplairs is able enough to accurately monitor the type changes. Furthermore, this particular technology also offers tools for monitoring real time co-monomer incorporation. Physical properties like density in polythene can be determined real time with better precision than the off-line column gradient or Archimedes methods. Moreover, the technology also provides early warning in erroneous master batch preparation which avoids complaints from our valued clients. The Applairs system reduces labour cost and thus are preferred over other conventional QC methods. Being a fully automated system, needs no people for it's operation. |  |  |  | |  |  |
