Flair the journey started in 1967 with manufacturing of Metal Ball Pens & Fountain Pens under the able guidance of Mr. K. J. Rathod, Chairman of the group & President of Writing Instruments Manufacturer Organization, India.

In 1985, Flair has enhanced its production line & diverse in Plastic ball pen, Gel pens & Fine liners. Flair has made a revolutionary change in Indian market, as Flair is the company which has introduced Gel Pens in Indian market. Flair never constrained itself, as after the success of Gel Pens, it has introduced Highlighters & Correction Pens. So finally Flair made its mark in Indian market and started getting perceived as an innovative brand and has started enjoying the success in the domestic market.

The group is completely managed by Rathod family, where Mr. V. J. Rathod, Managing director of the Group & Chairman of  Plastic Exports Promotion Council of India is looking after the export and financial aspect of the group, Mr. Rajesh Rathod, Executive Director & visionary of the group  completely understands the global arena and is fully equipped to cater the global market, Mr. Mohit Rathod, Executive Director & the mastermind for the innovative product line is well versed with global market trends & always aspires to match those international standards & Mr. Sumit Rathod, Executive Director is busy Capitalizing Indian market with new product lines and managing the Human Resource of the group.

National Pen & Plastic Industries (Government Recognized Star Export House), entertains a prestigious clientele throughout the globe with a customer base in more than 75 countries meeting Global standards from last 3 decades.

Flair has a production facility at Daman in India, which primarily caters to its Plastic range of product i.e. Plastic Ball Pens, Gel Pens, Permanent Markers, White Board Markers, Metallic Markers, Hi-lighters, Correction Pens & O.H.P., whereas Flair has its Metal production in Mumbai  which caters to the domestic and global market. Recently,

Flair has also established a new Production facility, FLAIR IMPEX CORPORATION in Special Economic Zone (Surat-SEZ, Gujarat) to cater its growing Exports demands. Flair is on its way to establish a new facility in northern part of India, Dehradun that will primarily cater domestic needs of the Northern region of the Country.

Infrastructure

Flair has a production base has an inbuilt capacity of 2.5 million pieces. Per day, which is about 275,000 sq. ft. and has approx. 3000 workers, with 125 Supervisors and Quality Analyst. Flair has more than 85 sets of Multi cavity moulds all designed and fabricated in Korea, Germany and Taiwan. Flair has state of art & technology consisting of fully computerized machines including about 100 injection moulding machines, Automatic assembly machines for Gel refills, Ball pen refills, Gel pens, Ball pens, Markers, Correction pens, Automatic pad printing machines & Foiling machines. Thus, the complete range of Writing Instruments from India is only gratified by Flair.

The company is currently building a brand new 70,000 sq. ft. factory at Daman. This new plant will increase our production capacity substantially and will be dedicated to manufacturing of Liquid Ink Pens, Highlighters, Markers and Correction Pens.
