Our combustion turbine silencers / stack silencer are designed to handle the hostile environment of cyclical thermal stress and corrosive gas. These combustion turbine silencers also provide the precise amount of noise reduction as required be our clients. Manufactured using stainless steel internals fiber packing, these combustion turbine silencers can easily tolerate high temperatures. The core of these silencers can be rectangular or splitter type to optimize internal velocity. Designed using latest technology these can endure temperature up to 1250 degree centigrade and guaranteed attenuation. Compressor In-Line Silencers

Compressor In-Line Silencers

The compressor in-line silencers offered by us is an absorptive type silencer that is designed for the short acoustic wave lengths formed by centrifugal and axial compressors. These compressor in-line silencers are custom designed by means of computer programs to match the silencer components to the acoustic and flow. These compressor in-line silencers are used to absorb sound by using viscous drag in the interstices of the glass fiber packing. Designed using latest technology, these silencers matches the packing resistance which creates this drag to the characteristic resistance of the gas that is being handled. Further, to adjust the pack resistance we change packing density, thickness and fiber diameter as per the requirement.

We customize the slot width to produce high-speed dynamic compressors. Customizing enables us to reduce the noise up to the maximum. The compressor in-line silencers slot width or distance between the annular packed sections is also adjusted for each application as per the site and machine.

Control Valve Silencers

Control Valve Silencers

The control valve silencers offered by us is used with control valve having high-pressure ratios across them and are usually earsplitting. Our control valve silencers is specially designed with high performance diffuser and an absorptive section for handling loud noise. This control valve silencers is quite capable of reducing fluid borne noise up to 60 db. Our Control Valve Silencer is designed and manufactured as per the requirement of our clients. Further, the pattern of diffuser drilling is chosen to provide a redesigned noise spectrum and most favorable back pressure for the valve. We also design the packed section in such a way that the slot width and length provides correct attenuation of the diffuser noise spectrum. We also provide after sale service to our clients including installation and commissioning of the silencer.

  • Custom Acoustic Performance: We make use of computer aided design that facilitates us with infinite variation of the silencer acoustic parameters of slot width and packed length. The most advantageous blend of these features is used for noise reduction.

  • Custom flow performance: The diffuser is designed and sections are packed in such a way that it provides the precise amount of pressure drop necessary for each application. For low pressure drop the silencers can be designed to minimize loss.   • Drilled Diffuser: Sturdy construction of diffuser using drilled pipe and full penetration butt welds prevents mechanical failure as the item is built like a pressure vessel.

  • Annular core construction: Series of annular cores are used in the packed section with the long strand glass fiber spooled into place and anchored by packing support studs. We guarantee consistent packing density and prevents movement of the packing

  • Triple Layer pack protection: Heavy gauge perforated facing and a layer of glass fiber cloth as well as a stainless steel screen is used to protect long strand glass fiber acoustic packing material.

Many Roots blowers are also sold as packages that include the blower, the silencer and/or an optional sound enclosure, and the belt driven package (which may include the base mounted motor, gauges, and valves). The Reactive Silencer manufactured by us is intended for industrial supply air or exhaust air channels, the said silencer being comprised of a sound attenuator chamber, to which is fitted a partition wall dividing the sound attenuator chamber into a first and second chamber part. The partition wall is fitted with two or more channels or pipes, which connect the first chamber part to the second chamber part. Liquid Filled Pulsation Dampners

Liquid Filled Pulsation Dampners

The liquid filled pulsation dampners offered by us decreases discharge pressure pulsation by around 75 percent. The type of pump and connected piping system & liquid handled, decides the actual performance of these dampeners. Further, the spherical shape of these liquid filled pulsation dampners is counted amongst the strongest arrangement for pressure-containing service. This is a standard option up to 400 bar design pressure. Our liquid filled pulsation dampners is capable of being permanently welded in the line, which saves flange costs and potential design flange leaks.

 

Technical Specifications:

Design: As the name states that our Pulsation Dampeners are completely liquid filed. These remove the maintenance and gas charging requirements. Its stationary parts and internals direct the incoming flow into a turning path within the spherical shell. Further, the spinning liquid weight creates a system smoothing flywheel effect. The viscous drag on the sphere walls and the capacitance effect are comparatively of larger volume. These are located next to the pump and help to dampen the pressure pulsation.

 

Construction: Manufactured using high grade steel with no bladders help in filling or replace and virtually no temperature limitation. The nozzles are beveled for weld and the unit becomes a part of the piping. Dampeners can also be fabricated using carbon steel, 300 series stainless steel or a variety of duplex and super Duplex steels.

Pump Suction Stabilizer

Pump Suction Stabilizer

The pump suction stabilizer, once coupled with the pump suction flange offers volume, dampening and separation effect that are necessary for smooth, low maintenance operation. These pump suction stabilizer acts as mini storage tank providing a full charge of liquid when the pump valves open. Low available Net Positive Suction Head (NPSH) systems usually prevent cavitations. Further, it acoustically uncouples the pump from the line eliminating acceleration head consideration due to its location. The capacitance or spring effect provided by the gas charge absorbs pulsation created by the abrupt flow change as the valves open and close. Before the entrained gas or vapor enters the pump suction manifold it is removed. Moreover the sudden pressure changes can cause gas to break out of solution and create partial cavitations.

Design Specifications:

Designed as per the specifications detailed by our clients, our stabilizers are perfect to control the flow of pump. The flow of water enters and leaves the stabilizer and forms a low-velocity vortex. Amplified path length created by the elevation difference between inlet and outlet and this vortex stimulates the release of any entrained gas. The free gas goes through centre tube to the gas or air pocket maintained at the top of the unit. Sometimes with gas-rich liquids, it is necessary to vent off the separated gas. Gas or liquid level can be observed visually through the sight glass equipped with stabilizer. Normal operating personnel can safely recharge the stabilizer because disassembly is not required.

Construction:

We manufacture pump suction stabilizer using welded steel of standard model, which are rated as 100 psig in accordance with ANSI B31.3 code. These stabilizers are fabricated as per the specifications detailed by our clients. Further, our engineers also take care of various aspects such as shape, size and raw material to be use. The customised engineered vent silencers manufactured by us is used to decrease the noise that comes from vent or safety relief lines and stacks. The unwanted sound of these vent moves to the atmosphere and increases the noise pollution. Our vent silencers can handle different types of gases including steam, oxygen, carbon dioxide, air, nitrogen, as well as natural gas and the many process gases used in industry. Our vent silencers are utilized in different industries for reducing the noise that comes while operating their heavy machines. We have helped various industries in building pressure vessels and to deliver a robust piece of equipment, which can withstand high temperature steam, high inlet velocities as well as significant local loads from wind, earthquake and pipe work expansion.

These equipment can be designed as self supporting or can be supplied with pad or cradle type supports as per clients requirement.
