 OPERATING PRINCIPAL:

Electromagnetic Flow Meter

This is offered in the series ELMAG-200M which is a micro-controller based full bore type electromagnetic flow transmitter. These flow transmitters accurately measure the flow rate of conductive liquids & slurries in closed pipes.     Magnetic Level Indicator
     
    This indicator is a safe and dependable method to measure levels of toxic liquids, solvents, corrosive acids, vegetable oils, liquid gases, fuel oils, and others. Its working principle is enlisted below:
     
    • A float of compatible MOC, carrying a magnet, is immersed in the liquid and moves due to buoyancy
    • The movement is conditioned within a SS float chamber
    • External to the float chamber is a glass tube carrying a magnetic follower and an indicating assembly consisting of magnetic strips
    • The magnet on the float and the magnet on the magnetic follower are coupled to move in unison
    • When the float moves along with change in liquid level, the magnetic follower moves in unison inside the glass tube and PVC magnetic strips thereby allowing clear visibility of level
     
    The application of magnetic level indicator is in the environments that are characterized by high pressure, high temperature and hazardous locations. As per client’s request, the magnetic switches can be installed without affecting the existing process. This system is not dependent on power.
     
    Float & Board Level Indicator

    Sight Flow Indicator

    We are offering a range of pipe line strainers/pipe line strainers that are used in various industrial applications. The range includes Y-strainers, basket strainers and full view/double window sight glass. These are explained below:
     
    Y-Strainers:
     
    We manufacture an array of Y Strainers that is mainly used in the application where the amount of solids to be removed is small, and where frequent clean - out is not necessary. Our range is widely used in pressurized lines and gas or liquid. It can also be used in suction or vacuum surroundings.
     
    The main advantage of these Y Strainer is that it can be installed in either a horizontal or vertical position. On the other hand, in both cases, the screening element or "leg" must be on the "downside" of the strainer body so that entrapped solids can be properly collected and held for disposal.
     
    To clean the system a blow down plug on the drain port is installed without removal of the screen, and without interrupting the process flow.
     
    Features of these Y Strainers include:
    • Machined, tapered seat ensures a perfect fit for removable, stainless steel screen
    • Covers furnished with blow off tapping
    • Heavy gauge perforated stainless steel normally furnished with spot welded seams

    Capacitance Level Transmitter

    Flow Star series LCT-01 are capacitance type level transmitters. The probe is based on properties of capacitor. Vessel wall & probe forms two electrodes. If vessel is of non conductive material, the probe will be double rod type. The distance between electrode & surface area of electrodes remain unchanged. The variable is the depth of the material being measured which represents the dielectric constant between two electrodes. Air & Vacuum have relative dielectric constant as 1 & that of liquids , it is greater than 1. The capacitance of the capacitor therefore depends on how much material lies between the probe & vessel wall i.e. whether the probe is covered with or free from material. The capacitor changes with change in level of the material & provides corresponding 4-20 mA DC continuos output.

    Level Switch

    Radio Frequency Based Level Switch
     
    These switches are based on Radio Frequency and are designed on the behavior of material such as liquid and solids.

    COATING :

    • Coating over sensing probe is very common
    • Flow star engineering sensors ignores any accumulation and coating, avoid false signals.
    • Liquid like tarcaol, chrome, poly Oil etc. are very sticky and accumulate over the sensing probe. Our instrument does not effect on such type of accumulation.

    TEMPERATURE :

    Temperature in process material can goes upto 1000deg.C. or more for certain applications. Flow star engineering provides suitable sensors for high temperature or ambient conditions.

    PRESSURE :

    • Inside the vessels/tank pressure is generated for fluidizing of process materials. Under such conditions the sensor has too be selected as per pressure conditions. Flow star engineering provide suitable sensor.
    • For acid/ alkali application we provide PTFE/Teflon insulation on the sensing probe to avoid Erosion and these perform without any troubles.

    SYSTEM DESCRIPTION:

    Model FERF-200 has two parts: one is sensing probe and another is called electronic Unit. Both are connected by our coaxial cable. The sensing probe has two parts active and shield section, both insulated from each other.
    Model FERF-200 works on Radio frequency principle. Oscillators generate a very low power radio frequency signals, which is equal in frequency phase and amplitude, provided to shield and active sections of the sensing probe and reference signal is taken from the ground of the electronic housing installed the nearest structure. The signals provided to the shield parts remain constant by use of a compensating circuit. The signal to the active section is not compensated i.e. it can vary. Inside empty vessel gas or suspended dust particles always present. The Signal propagation continue towards zero (vessels body). We call it free propagation inside the empty hopper, there will no change in signals. When material stars filling and goes up to the sensor and submersed some length of active part of the sensor by the material, The signal propagation still continues, but this time signal passes through the difference media, and signal will try to exhort more energy since same signal was passing earlier freely while hopper was empty & now the signal become weak in comparison to the shield. The variations in active signals are compared with the shield signal and actuates relay by the predetermined set value with the reference of ground. We take a potential free relay change over contact for further automation/control.
