| | Hydraulic Seals
The Fluoro Carbon Seals offers a wide range of seals for all the application in the field of hydraulic and pneumatic. The different requirements and operating condition to be necessitated in hydraulic systems and equipments requires a wide variety of different types of seals. In addition to operating parameters such as speed of stroke, temperature, system pressure and media, the duty cycle of the equipments, the expected service life, no leakage, low friction and the price/performance ratio also very important for selection of seals. Static Seals
Static seals are used to hold the leakage through the system depending on the application. There are several types of seals available in different shapes and different materials such PTFE, rubber etc. Dynamic Seals Dynamic seals are generally used to transmit power for various applications. To achieve maximum efficiency, dynamic seals play an important role. It consists of several sealing rings made of different material depending on application. Rod Seals Rod seals are used depending on the design of the hydraulic cylinder and the guide characteristics, on the non-pressure side of the seal there may be gaps, into which the seal can move under pressure resulting in its destruction. The gap dimension should be calculated very correctly and should not exceed in any case. There are two base type of seal housing . i) Axially accessible in open seal housing ii) Close seal housing in the form of a groove recessed in the cylinder.
Axially accessible seal housing are required for seals consisting of several seal rings. To achieve optimum sealing, these seals must be tight axially for installation reason open seal housing are required only for small diameter.

| | PTFE Bellows
serve both for sealing the conveyed media and for acceptance of the valve spindle motion. Such non-stuffing box types with PTFE bellows are used as isolating, metering, servo and conveyance valves. Pumps, agitators, centrifuges, filling and weighing units can be installed in equipment and piping systems of steel, enamelled steel, glass and plastic, free from vibrations and shocks due to PTFE bellows. This flexible adapter at the same time ensures the compensation of axial, lateral and angular movements. PTFE bellows are produced by machining of a particularly high-quality semi-finished material - owing to the high requirements in chemical, mechanical and thermal applications.

| | PTFE Rings
PTFE seal supplied by Fluoro Carbon Seals is available in the following material specification such as virgin PTFE, which is used mainly for o-rings, backup rings and for machined parts used in special applications requiring chemical inertness and limited strength. Even they are ideal for use in cryogenic applications. Bronze filled PTFE is used in dynamic sealing applications, where the bronze filler gives improved wear resistance, hardness and compressive strength. The electrical properties and chemical resistance are reduced. Graphite filled PTFE has significant increased thermal conductivity, reduced level of creep. They are self-lubricating, therefore suitable for high-speed applications, without the need for exterior lubrication and applications, which need to remove thermal energy and/or static electricity. Glass filled PTFE is used, where there is a need for improved wear and increased coefficient of friction. They are ideal for high dynamic applications e.G. High rotation pumps. These high-performance PTFE seals are said to provide exceptional life, high chemical resistance, and lower friction that versus conventional elastomer seals. PTFE seal handles wide variations in pressure and temperature and surface speeds.
