We are offering a wide spectrum of Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) Seals to our customers. These PTFE (Teflon) Seals are manufactured in combination with an elastic rubber material or a metal spring which provide required contact pressure and pre-load with the sliding surface. Also known as Teflon, PTFE is a fluoro plastic which displays great resistance to chemicals due to its thermoplastic nature.
Some of the physical properties of PTFE are:
Strong carbon-flourine bond in the molecular chain.
Thermal operating range between - 200 OC to + 260 OC.

Low coefficient of fiction in static and dynamic conditions.
Temperature and load have a specific effect on the flow of PTFE which can be either creep flow or cold flow. To reduce the thermal expansion of PTFE, it is used with materials like glass fiber or bronze. The additives are also helpful in enhancing the wear strength and imparting resistance against permanent deformation in a cold flow state.
