BRIEF INTRODUCTION OF FORTI
FEDERATION OF RAJASTHAN TRADE & INDUSTRY (FORTI) is an Apex association of trade and industry of Rajasthan and working for the interest and upliftment of Trade and industry in the Rajasthan since more than 50 years. We have more than 3500 entrepreneur members and 400 trade / industry Association are also our members and their members are our associate members.
FORTI is working as bridge between Government and Trade/Industry of the State. This organization serves the trade and industrial sectors in Rajasthan, provides them platform to come under one roof for their development. FORTI has representation in various committees of Central and State Government Departments and organizations.
To update the entrepreneurs time to time in the recent past organized following events, seminars, exhibitions and conferences listed below:
? MSME Meet-2010 in Mrach?10
? An awareness program on TDS under Income Tax with Income tax dept. in May?10.
? Open house with Commissioner, Commercial Taxes in June?10.
? A talk show was successfully organized to discuss the different aspects of the Draft Solar Power Policy of Rajasthan -2010, on 28.07.2010.
? FORTI Women Wing (FWW), platform for women entrepreneurs of Rajasthan launched under the umbrella of FORTI and around a dozen programs for the welfare and upliftment of women entrepreneurs have been successfully organized by the FWW since inception.

? IPF-2011, a national seminar on Agri business and Food Processing on 07.01.2011 in support with MOFPI, Govt. of India, RIICO, and RSAMB, Govt. of Rajasthan .

Besides above, FORTI has successfully organized some events of National and International level some of them are detailed below.
? An exhibition on Export to Middle-east countries at World Trade Centre, Dubai jointly with Rajasthan Patrika May 2007;
? A Road Show in connection with Industrial Exhibition at Myanmar (Yangoon) in May 2007;
? A seminar on Export to African countries in collaboration with Engineering Export Promotion Council, New Delhi in June 2007;
? International Exhibition and Seminar on Processed Food ?IPF-2007? in Aug- Sept-2007 in association with MOFPI, Govt. of India, MSME, Govt. of India and Commissioner of Industries, Govt. of Rajasthan.
? Now FORTI IS organizing Northern India MSME Meet in association with Chamber of Small Industries Associations, Mumbai (COSIA) Member: National Board of MSME, Govt. of India on 7the November, 2011. COSIA is a national level organization which has already organized Regional Seminars (Western, Southern, Eastern and North-Eastern India) on MSME very successfully. Industrial Area Associations like UCORI and Laghu Udyog Bharati of Rajasthan are also supporting the Meet.
