All terminals are operated Online with an Ethernet / RS 232 / 422 connection to guarantee the most current data transmission and data processing in SAMS or in a superior ERP system. If the server is not available for data communication, the terminals automatically switch to Offline mode. The terminals save all entries and transmit them when the server is available again. Time Prox & Time Smart time recording terminals do change mode automatically at specified time to capture IN or OUT data of the shift. In case of multiple shifts environment dedicated IN & OUT terminals provided. Employees / Staff members use Proximity or Smart Cards to record In/Out times. Proximity or Smart card is a contact-free identification medium that allows for the checking, storage, and transmission of data. The individual punch times are checked, saved, and transmitted as condensed information and then analyzed and processed. The employee receives up-to date Info such as flextime or overtime.
