In order to enhance its know-how base, the company in 1973 signed what was to be the first of its Foreign Collaboration Agreements with M/s. BOVINE & Co. Ltd., U.K. for the manufacture of Butterfly Valves. Growing markets, shifts in production and the demand for a vast range of products and the latest technology has further led to the setting up of 8 other plants within India namely at Bangalore, Aurangabad, Chennai and Baroda. |

From its inception forty years ago, we laid the Fouress foundation on the strength of integrity, innovation and enterprise in everything we did. Focus was on import substitution which was the need of the hour and the tool was the core engineering strength, which India has in abundance.
Since the early ‘90s when the Indian entrepreneurial spirit was unleashed by the liberalization of the economy, there has been no going back and it has opened great opportunities for us to becoming a global player with the right technology and focus. Information technology, in which India has demonstrated great prowess, could not have come about at a better time for us to be a economic super power in the foreseeable future.
