Free Elegance, based in Lucknow, India, is a company making natural clothing. The company was established in 2003 with a vision to create a line of pure natural fabrics and garments crafted with the “ Chikan “ hand embroidery - the speciality of Lucknow since many generations. This project was initiated by a group of people who have the awareness of the hazards of the chemicals used in the garment industry, starting from the fields where the cotton is grown to the final finishing of the garment. We have since then worked towards the target of developing natural hand woven fabrics made with authentic chemical- free cotton yarn, colored with natural and eco - friendly vegetable dyes, and beautifully crafted with the famous CHIKAN hand embroidery of Lucknow. Thus achieving a fabric that is natural in all aspects, giving the body a feeling of comfort and ease, being free from the effects of syntetics and chemicals on the body. |
