Ganges Jute Pvt. Ltd. (GJPL) is the youngest mill amongst the four Jute mills owned by The Ganges Group having a history and experience of over 80 years in manufacturing of Jute products.

It is the only composite unit processing and producing jute products/ value added jute products from fiber stage.

Our factories are subject to a regular (every 6-12 months) independent audits that cover both technical and socio-ethical compliance. Intertek an internationally recognized auditor has done the most recent audit in November 2009 on behalf of TESCO, UK. It is also acredited: As One Star Export House. As ISO 9000:2008 Company An ISO 14000 Company.

GJPL Mills is sprawling over 400 acres & employs more than 3000 workers in the mills. GJPL is currently manufacturing 80,000 pcs per day with provision for up to 1,00,000 pcs per day with current capacity. Adding an additional shift would increase the capacity to 1,60,000 pcs per day. Fabric to finished product conversion including dyeing, lamination, cutting, printing, embroidery and sewing is done all under a single roof of 1 million sq. ft. shed area.
