Flasks Vessels Receivers

Flask vessels jacketed are available in spherical shape from 5 to 500 liter and in Cylindrical Shape from 5 to 500 liter capacity. Cylindrical vessels can be supplied with metal/glass jackets too. All flask vessels jacketed are provided with a bottom outlet for which a suitable valve can be chosed from range of valves. Cylindrical vessels of 50 Litres and above must be supported in a vessel holder.

1. Generally, the centre nozzle is used for either stirrer fixing or, if stirrer is not fixed, for vapour outlet.
2. The bottom outlet is used for drain. However, in type VSR & VSE, it is also used for fixing immersion heat exchanger.
3. The small side nozzles are used                                           

(a) To fix thermometer pocket or
(b) To fix dip pipe for liquid inlet or,
(c) To fix sparger for gas purging or,
(d) To fix vacuum control or vent valve or,
(e) For solid addition.

4. The bigger side nozzle is used for vapour outlet where stirrer is fixed on centre neck.   It can also be used for cleaning etc in case centre neck is used for vapour outlet.

For special applications, cylindrical vessels can be supplied with a jacket for heating or cooling. Jacket is sealed to the vessel with Viton 'O' ring and other sealing compositions. The seal prevents high stresses between vessel and jacket by allowing the movement flexibility between two due to thermal expansion.

Glass Jackets

Glass Jacket can be used for a maximum operating pressure of 0.5 bar and a maximum operation temperature of 130ºC in jacket. The temperature difference between jacket & vessel should not exceed 120°C. These vessels can also be supplied with Metal Jackets. Metal Jacket can be used in a maximum operating pressure of 2.0 bar and a maximum operation temperature of 150ºC. Glass fused baffles jacketed vessels are provided for effective mixing of the liquid while stirring

Spherical Vessels are available from 5 to 500 liters. All vessels are provided with a bottom outlet for which a suitable valve can be chosed from range of valves.
