All sliding faces are machined to close tolerances & hand scraped to provide high relative accuracies. Jaw plates are case hardened & ground. Screw rod is of alloy steel (toughened).Very useful for work holding in Milling machines, Drilling machines, Shaping machines & Machining Centers.
