Cast Iron Mould

CUBE MOULD of 150mm and 100mm as per BS 1881 or as per the customer requirements Moulds design by us for rigidity and all cast iron plates are manufactured from graded cast iron to maintain the required hardness. Bottom plate (10mm or 15mm as per customer requirements) is of mild steel. Th internal surfaces of the mould are accurately machined. The depth of the mould and the distance between either pair of opposite internal faces within ±0.15mm. All the angles are at right angle, 90 deg to the adjacent faces. Mould is complies with BS 1881. Weight of complete assembly 14 Kgs to 17 Kgs as per the requirements. In the mould we are using total 8 dowel pins. 4 are for Locking purpose and 4 for Location purpose. The locating pins sites near the location of carriagebolt and able to slide freely in and out of the locating hole. The other diagonal side fitted firmly. This design is useful for easy and fast reassembly of the mould. In our design- 2 Clamps are fitted in a manner that only by loosening the nut and pulling back the clamps, you are able to lift complete mould (Cast Iron assembly) upwards. This will also helpful for easy and fast reassembly.
