About UsThe Group owes its humble beginning to the vision of 4 technocrats who in year 1975 laid the foundation of the group with Sharayu Precision. Over the years, understanding the need of our customers for precision stampings and assemblies, the Group added Metal Stamping and Tool making capabilities to its portfolio by establishing Associated Manufacturing Company, Pune in 1984 to expand its operations and product range, it established Gatiman Auto Pvt. Ltd., Indore in 1988. The group has strived constantly to understand the needs of its customers and the industry and has acquired product development capabilities and also added surface coating facilities.
Gatiman Group is dedicated to manufacturing of quality metal stampings, assemblies and FRP components. It offers tool and product engineering and contract manufacturing services. Our success comes from a well-qualified, highly trained and dedicated employee base. Gatiman boasts one of the highest engineers to technicians ratio in the industry it works in. Gatiman enjoys a very good relationship with its customers and is involved early on in the product development cycle.
Under the aegis of Mr. Subhash Chuttar, Shyam Jain our promoter directors, the group has been doing path defining work by employing mentally and physically challenged individuals.
The contributions of the group are well acknowledged by the society and the Government of India and were honored with "NCPEDP-Shell Helen Keller Award" in 2003 & National Award by Indias honorable President, Dr. Abdul Kalam in 2004. |
Quality Policy / ProcessesGatiman Auto Pvt. Ltd. is a QS 9000 certified company having awarded its certification from AQSR. Quality Management System of GAPL is designed to meet requirements of Global Metal Stampings customers. Quality is inbuilt in every Phase of Process design and Manufacturing. We are able to deliver defect free products at competitive cost through the use of advanced techniques and advanced process control measures / mistake proofing Quality Assurance at Gatiman has always surpassed any other consideration that a Customer has ever recognized and is, therefore,always manifested in every aspect of Product that is designed and
manufactured at Gatiman - following unparalleled commitment in Engineering, unequaled quest for precision in Manufacturing and uncompromised standards in Quality Management.
Gatiman has a team of dedicated engineers involved in improving quality as well as Value Engineering at every stage. Gatiman has requisite measuring instruments and equipment for validating manufacturing processes, including Salt Spray test Chamber, Pressure Gauge Calibration, Vacuum Testing equipment etc. The Q.A. also has a Reliability Support Room equipped with equipment to calibrate gauges in-house.
Even though the Group Companies, Associated Manufacturing Company & Sharayu Precision are not QS certified, both these companies have their QMS in place. These companies are in process of being TS-16949 certified by June 2005.

2004 : Gatiman Auto Pvt. Ltd. develops FRP Disguise Kits for Ford of Australia for their world car to be launched in 2005
