 | Chilled Iron Grits Chilled Iron shots
offered by us are widely used for cleaning in foundries, casting for sand
removal. Besides, these are also used for cleaning of kettles & coppers,
ingredient for ship weight or weight of fisher’s nets and filler for stong-rooms.
We too offer chilled iron grits that is a white iron structure fabricated by
using high grade broken iron shot of high hardness, a very hard, sharp angles.
Our range of chilled iron grits are used for air blast applications, for
removing of old paints, cleaning of castings and metallurgical materials, for
blasting of stone and for cutting of stone. Furthermore, these are also
suitable for etch structural steel and components prior to coating with paint,
metal spray & plastics. Following are the
salient features of our range:
- Quicker cleaning action
- Similar qualities in comparison to
Garnet
- Used in surface preparation for
electroplating, enameling, painting
- Also applicable as granite sawing and
granite block surface treatment and also for shot-blast leaning of
castings, forgings, rolled steel before and after heat treatment.

 | Glass Sand Glass Sand produces a much smoother and brighter finish than angular abrasives. Glass sand blasting produces a clean, bright, satin finish, without dimensional change in the parts. Available in a wide range of sizes, glass sand is primarily used in blasting cabinets for honing, polishing, peening, blending, finishing, removing light burrs and cleaning most light foreign matter. For delicate thin-walled parts and thin welds, peening with glass sand abrasive material provides the right balance of stress relief without over-stressing and causing damage. To obtain a finish with no profile, Glass sand is the product of choice. The non-metallic spherical granules provide effective cleaning, polishing, deburning or peening of metal, plastic or rubber materials.
