Founded in 1966 by Mr. Prasan Manilal Jhaveri, Gem Star Company is a leading Golden Star Trading House recognised by the Government of India. The company is engaged in the business of import of rough diamonds, manufacturing and exporting superior quality cut and polished diamonds.

Gem Star Company has state-of-the-art production facilities at Ahmedabad, Surat and Navsari in Gujarat - India and in the Domestic Tariff Area (DTA) and in Seepz++ - Mumbai. Their operations in India and the Far East are managed with consummate professionalism by Mr. Shripal Manilal who has been instrumental in setting up diamond studded - precious and semi - precious studded Jewellery Division under the brand name of Nicole . The Middle East operations are managed by the founder, Mr. Prasan Manilal Jhaveri, a visionary with over 45 years of experience in the diamond industry. Other global operations are conducted under the umbrella of House of Manilal.
