Research and Development
We have a vibrant and strong research and development facility which enables us to regularly and continuously develop and formulate new chemicals and agrochemical range. Our research and development unit is headed by prominent scientists and researchers in the chemical industry. Headed by Dr. K H Gharda our R&D team enabled us in the formulation of vital import substitute products and cost-effective Agro-chemicals on a large scale. Owing to the technological advancement and rigorous research we are able to provide our range to even marginal farmers which is cost effective than international chemicals, insecticides, herbicides, fungicides and allied agrochemicals.
Leveraging on our R&D unit we have been able to develop fine chemicals for dyestuffs, pesticides, veterinary drugs and polymers through innovative, cost-effective and safe processes. Further, to ensure this we have more than 200 chemists and chemical engineers in the R&D team who regularly engaged in research activity in the 10 fully equipped process chemistry laboratories. In addition this, our research unit has a sophisticated pilot-plant scale-up and design and construction facility which enables us to take up huge orders ranging from 1 MT or 2000 MT of chemicals.

Jan. 2000: Dr.Gharda was selected as one of the four “Contributors to Indian Chemical Industry in this millennium”. He is now one of the two survivors.
Nov. 2000: Chemical Industry Stalwart Award presented by Chemtech Foundation in recognition of outstanding contribution rendered to the Indian process Industry.
Nov. 2003: In recognition of Dr. Gharda’s contribution to the Indian Chemical Industry in particular and the Society in general, the Institute of Science (Mumbai) alumni Association felicited Dr.Gharda and conferred on him the Vigyan Sanstha Ratna Award 2003.
June 2004: Dr.Gharda received the “Chemical Pioneer Award” from The American Institute of Chemists, Philadelphia, USA, on June 18th 2004
Oct. 2007: CHEMEXCIL– Basic Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals and Cosmetics Export Promotion Council, Mumbai – Life Time Achievement Award - for exemplary contribution to Indian Chemical & Agro Chemicals Industry.
Dec. 2007: Dr.Gharda received “Dr.Bujor P Godrej Life Time Award for 2007” & the Diamond Jubilee Award of the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers, Kolkata.
Dr.Gharda was presented a Gold Medal by the Society of Dyers and Colourists, United Kingdom “for outstanding contributions to the dyestuff Industry in India”.

We make use of qualitative chemicals as raw material in formulation of our wide assortment of agricultural insecticides, agricultural herbicides, agricultural fungicides, plant growth regulator, chemical and agro intermediates and veterinary medicine drugs.
Our comprehensive range of insecticides comprises of Fipronil, Acetamiprid, Chlorpyrifos, Quinalofos, Temephos, Triazophos, Indoxacarb, Alphacypermethrin, Cypermethrin, Deltamethrin and Fenvalerate. We formulate an array of herbicides such as Anilofos, Clodinafop-propargyl, Dicamba, Isoproturon, Metamitron, Napropamide, Sulfosulfuron and Triclopyr Butoxy Ethyl Ester. Our comprehensive range of intermediates includes Cypermethric Acid Choride (D.V.Acid Chloride), CIS-Cypermethric Acid, Metaphenoxy Benzyl Alcohol, Metaphenoxy Benzaldehyde, Pyrazole, Sodium Salt of Trichloropyridinol (NaTCPOL) and Trans-Cypermethric Acid.
