Oxyclozanide

Specifications:- The Product conforms to BP Vet
- Appearance: A pale cream colored, odorless powder
- Identification: i) Infra-red absorption spectrum concordant with reference spectrum for Oxyclozanide (Polymorph B) ii) The light absorption, in the range 250 to 350 nm of a 0.003% (w/v) solution in acidified methanol exhibits a maximum only at 300 nm. The absorbance at the maximum is about 0.76.
- Melting Point: About 2080C
- Ionisable chlorine: 0.25% (w/w) maximum (calc. as NaCl MW 58.5)
- Loss on drying at 0.7: 1.0% (w/w) maximum KPA & 600C
- Sulphated ash: 0.2% (w/w) maximum

Rafoxanide
| We manufacture and provide Rafoxanide which is an anthelmintic used for the treatment and control of liver fluke in sheep and cattle. Rafoxanide conforms to British Pharmacopoeia (Veterinary) 1985. Some of the physical and chemical properties of Rafoxanide are as follows: - Chemical Name: 3-chloro-4-pchlorophenoxy-3,5-di-iodosalicylanilide
- CAS Registry No: [22662-39-1]
- Appearance: A greyish white to brown powder
- Identification: i) Infra-red absorption spectrum: Concordant with the reference spectrum of Rafoxanide ii) Light absorption of a 0.004% : Absorbance at 280 nm, about 0.97 and at (w/v) solution in 0.1M 335 nm, about 0.59 melthanolic hydrochloric acid
- Melting point : About 175°C
- Related substances (by TLC method as per Amendment No.1, B. Vet. C., (1985): passes
- Loss on drying at 90°C (for 2 hrs): Loses not more than 0.5% of its weight at a pressure not exceeding 0.7 KPa
- Sulphated ash : 0.1% (w/w) maximumg)
