Hulling & Hull Separation Machinery
Oil seeds like sunflower, neem seeds & seeds of cocoa, coffee needs special impact type huller to recover kernels. After hulling Air Classifier is used to separate loose hulls. There after mixture is graded on special multi desk grader to separate whole Kernels broken kernels un hulled seeds etc.
some varieties of seeds need one of the following operations to separate kernels before further processing.- De hulling: Sun flower, neem seeds, coffee seeds, cocoa seeds.
- Decorticating Ground nuts.
- Cracking Soybeans.
- De husking: Gram dal, Tuver.
All this operations need different types of machineries depending upon characteristic of seeds cover and kernels. After separation of hulls or husks, separation machineries like air classifier, aspirator columns, pneumatic scalper etc. are used to separate kernels. | Impact Huller  The Impact Huller is used for the dehulling of sunflower seeds, neem seeds etc., with high dehulling efficiency and a minimum amount of brokens feeding control device regulates the material to be dehulled to the rotor where it is radially accelerated. The grooved impeller flights of the rotor align the product horizontally in travelling direction to hit the impact ring. By hitting the impact ring the husk is separated from the kernel. The mixture consisting of kernels, husks and unhulled product is discharged through an outlet hopper. A feed pipe, which can be lowered or lifted by means of device operated by hand wheel, controls the volumetric feed. Salient features: - High dehulling efficiency with a minimum amount of brokens.
- The rotor speed is infinitely variable by means of a frequency converter. Its adjustment depends on the hulling characteristics of the products. A digital techometer provided to know rotor speed of huller.
- Impact ring and impeller flights are made of wear resistant steel and hence minimum maintenance and replacement of spares required. The impact ring can be easily changed.
- Easy control of machines either from a control of machines either from a control desk or from control cabinet.
