About Us

Global Green was originally set-up in 1992 as a joint venture between India s Thapar group and a European partner. In 1996, the Thapar Group in a demonstration of its vision and commitment to the potential of Indian agriculture acquired 100% stake in the entity, which was then renamed as The Global Green Company Limited.

Since its inception, Global Green has been the pioneer and leader of the pickled cucumber business out of India. While a growing customer base and superior manufacturing facilities have contributed to the company s steady and consistent growth, strategic acquisitions have also played an important role in this process.
