About UsGlobe is a full service moving and storage company that has been serving the needs of the New York City business community since 1964. By stressing traditional values, service, honesty and integrity we have surged to the forefront of our industry. Back in 1969, Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison challenged New York City moving companies to come up with a way to relocate their large library and records departments, without losing accessibility to these items during preparation and moving. Globe's President, Mr. Vincent Cibrano, proved to be up to the challenge by inventing the mobile carrier. This piece of equipment is used to move files and books in a manner that keeps them active and accessible to employees throughout every phase of a move. It was this invention that was the decisive factor in Globe being awarded the project. From that successful experience, Globe was fortunate enough to be chosen to do similar projects for some of the most prominent firms such as Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison, Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, Debevoise & Plimpton, Stroock, Stroock & Lavan, and Rogers and Wells. Today Globe is a $10 million dollar company. Our success and sound financial management has prompted Dun & Bradstreet to give us a rating of 3A1, the highest grade given to a company of our size. This financial strength gives us the flexibility to perform the smallest move or a large commercial relocation with our trademark quality and efficiency. |
