The word biscuit originated from Latin, which described it as “twice cooked”. It has come a long way since then till it became the inevitable snack for tea drinkers. Noticing its popularity globally, we- Gokul Foods, got conceptualized in the year 1987, as a manufacturer and exporter of mouth watering array of biscuits and bakery products. Our tempting range comprises of milk biscuits, marie biscuits, cream biscuits, herbal biscuits, cream biscuits- orange flavour, cream biscuits- pineapple flavour and cream biscuits - elachi flavour. Our company was founded by Mr. S.Radhakrishnan, with an aim to provide customers with hygienically baked and highly nutritive biscuits. His zeal to make a name in the food products industry, has brought us this far and placed us on a higher pedestal than our competitors. With an eye for detail, we make sure that each variety of biscuits is evenly cut and baked.

Even though a large variety of biscuits is available in the market, the word is mainly used to refer the sweeter version of the baked product. Our palatable array is made from a variety of ingredients that include wheat flour, sugar and sugar products, vegetable shortenings, milk and milk products, dry fruits and nuts and many more. The oven fresh range of our biscuits is topped with choco-chips, nuts, jam etc, in addition to many other toppings that make them even more relishing. We also present a range of digestive biscuits made from whole wheat and is very good for the stomach. Our mouth watering platter consists of milk biscuits, Marie biscuits, herbal biscuits and cream biscuits in flavours such as orange, pineapple and elachi flavour. These are known for the following:

For us quality is always above and ahead of everything, which helps us in maintaining consistency in our bakery products. We have a separate team that looks into the enhancement of taste and quality of products at every level. With the presence of supervisors, we keep an eye on the level of hygiene being followed inside our premises. They ensure that it is not dropped at any given point of time. The testing of products starts at an early level at our unit. The first step being testing the raw materials through a series of tests like:

• Moisture testing
• GLUTEN testing

We further ensure that the products are untouched by hands and hygienically packed with our packing machines.

Spread over an expanse of 25,000 sq. ft, we are supported by a state-of-the-art infrastructure that comprises latest machines and a trained manpower. Our bakery unit has all the facilities for seiving, kneading, cutting and baking. The presence of such an advanced infrastructure enables us to manufacture a minimum of 100 tonnes per month and maximum 400 tonnes per month. The requisite machines installed at our unit are:

Each of our products is packed using colourful printed flexible laminates, HDPE and PP packing materials to prevent the products from moisture that might make them soggy. The backside of each of our packs has relevant details like manufacturing and expiry date, batch number, brand name, ingredients used, place of origin, nutritional chart or any other information that we find necessary. The individually packed biscuits are kept inside appropriate sized cartons that are properly sealed to prevent any kind of damage or pilferage during the transit stage.

The packed contents are stored at our spacious warehouse having a controlled atmosphere till they are delivered. We make sure that the products are kept in hygienic surroundings away from moisture, dust or any other factor that results in degeredation of their quality. Keeping this in mind, we also fumigate the place and treat it properly to keep away from rodent or insects.
