Vibrating tables are available in two different types:
- Electromagnetic.
- Electromechanical.
Electromagnetic models have vibration in only one axis whereas electromechanical models have sinusoidal vibration in two axes. The proper selection depends on the application, object or material to be handled, its reaction to vibration, the maximum weight etc.
Typical application: - Fatigue testing of equipment or instruments.
- Consolidation of concrete.
- Foundry shakeout.
- Foundry mould and core making.
- Weighing and filling systems.
- Compaction of material in the container.
- Jumbo bag packing to increase their net contents.
