The range of carpets designed by us includes Knotted Carpets, Woven Carpets, Hand Knotted Carpets, Hand Woven Carpets, Hamadan Carpets, Round Carpets, Afghan Carpets, Kerman Carpets, Khatraz Carpets and Persian Carpets. Our Journey Towards Success
Initially, our company was engaged in trading of these carpets. 8 years hence, it was Mr. B.K. Agarwal younger brother of Mr. M.L. Agarwal, who started a full-fledged factory and named it Agarwal Thread Factory. The saga did not end here. Another milestone was achieved in the year 1990, when Mr. Murli Agarwal kick started the manufacturing facility within the factory and named it Shivam Carpets. Now, the company is handled by the trio, and is soaring high amidst its competitors all over the world.

Processes We Follow
To manufacture top-class artificial silk and woolen carpets, we use various machines and process. A brief of all the manufacturing processes in mentioned below:
1. CONVERSION OF COTTON YARN IN TO CARPET WOOL
In our factory, we convert the cotton yarn into thread and wool, which are used to prepare the handmade silk carpet. The process is done by the help of different machines such as binder, doubling, head, and weaving machine.
2. MANUFACTURING PROCESS
In manufacturing process, we make the handmade carpets through wool, thread, and map. All the process of making the carpet is done by our craftsmen.
3. FINISHING PROCESS
When the carpet is manufactured then it is ready to go the next process which is called finishing process where its minute aspects are eyed upon. These aspects are stitch and finish.
4. SCISSORING
Scissoring is the first step in the finishing process of the carpets wherein the leftover wool is scissored.
5. WASHING
The washing is done by cleaning the carpet with the help of various chemicals and detergent soaps.
6. STRAIGHTENING
When the process of washing is over the carpets are subjected to the straight process.
7. CLIPPING
This is the fourth step of finishing process. Clipping is done by the help of various machines. Through clipping rugs, it gets shine.
8. BINDING
Binding is only done for increasing the life of carpets. This is one of the processes of finishing process.
9. FINAL FINISH
It is the final step of the finishing process. After this step, carpets are fully finished and are ready for sale.
