Gelcoat guns feature the patented Air Assist Containment (AAC). GlasCraft's exclusive AAC wraps the spray pattern in a containment shield of air - preventing atomized droplets from escaping the spray pattern. All the Gelcoat external mix spray guns feature the patented AAC technology. AAC reduces material waste - which results in more molds gelcoated per drum of material. Resin transfer molding (RTM) is a closed mold manufacturing process. Finished parts are made by introducing polyester and vinyl ester resins into closed molds containing fiberglass, carbon or other reinforcements.
