Oriental Group started in a humble way in 1992 by Mr. H.S. Abdul Hafeez Sayeed (Afsar), today it stands as the biggest producer of Hassan Green and Oriental Green rought blocks from its own captive quarries in Merculi which is 20 Kms from Hassan and Lingadahalli 105 Kms from Hassan.

Oriental Group was first to introduce oriental Green, new colour to international market from its own quarry with production of 1200 cmb per annum.

The quarrying is done using latest state-of-the-art machineries to get maximum product with minimum wastage. The company produces 6000 cmb / annum, of Hassan Green rough blocks.

Oriental Group today stands for its commitment of quality and delivery of rough blocks and finished goods, which is why today it has excellent reputation in international as well as domestic market. Oriental Group stands as testimony for its achievements in a short span of time by way of satisfying clients in all aspects.

Oriental Group started processing factory in the name of Granite Industrial Corporation Pvt. LTd., in 1998 in a sprawling 5 acre land with 12 circular sawing machines, 12 polishing machines in Hassan with production of 1,00,000 sq. ft. per month of finished slabs.

Oriental Group is also under processing of setting up of Gangsaw plant unders its expansion programme with Multi-head polishing unit with all infrastructure near Bangalore.

Oriental Group under its flagship of Omega Tools is also importing Diamond Segments and steel blanks and blades.
