The solar Street Light is a cost effective lighting system for streets, squares, village assembly place not supplied with electricity. The costs of trenching and installing underground wiring often make a solar street lighting system an economically feasible lower cost option.
This Street Light uses Light Emitting Diodes (LED) instead of conventional CFL Lamps. Use of LEDs gives light for much longer duration than the CFL lamps and they lasts for more than 10 years.
We use White Power LEDs with high LUMEN output in the range of 70, 80 and 100 Lumens per watt with excellent performance record.
The electronic driver circuit has been carefully designed to withstand rough environmental conditions but still maintaining an efficiency of operation of above 80 %.
The 12 Volt Tubular, Deep Discharge Battery used are specially designed for Solar Operation and will last for around 5 years with water level checking at 5 to 6 months intervals.
The Light cover is dust and water proof and is made of Impact modified Polycarbonate chimney and hardened Nylon body.
The solar panels used are of Mono/Poly Crystalline type and of rugged design. They will last for 10 to 15 years and require only occasional cleaning with a soft moist cloth or sponge.
The Street light will work for 12 hours continuously and will work for 3 or more consecutive days of no Sunshine. The Light is automatically switched ON and OFF during Dusk and Dawn
